You can spend days in these parks experiencing the fantastic adventure rides, cooling off in the waterparks or visiting the unique Australian wildlife.
The Gold Coast is a shopper's paradise so if you are looking for souvenirs or anything else to take home with you will be in shopper's heaven. There are a number of excellent shopping centers and each town has plenty of local stores. Cafes and restaurants abound here. You could stay for a year and go to a different one for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and not repeat yourself. Tours are the same. You can see all of the surrounding hinterland with someone who knows the region and can take you straight to all the places of interest. The Southport Broadwater is constantly covered by cruise boats of all descriptions. Floating restaurants, fishing charters, whale watching tours and sailing adventures are all well catered for.
